I’m back with a special announcement (this was reported months ago but better late than never). If you’re a fan of Hesh Pharma products like I am then I suggest that you check out the following:
It appears that Health Canada has run some tests on the brand and noticed that it contains high amounts of bacteria. These products pose a risk to people with weakened immune systems and can cause an infection if they are inhaled or introduced into the body through the eyes, nose, or mouth, or via open wounds on the skin. I know that many of you natural heads are a fan of Amla, Shikakai and Aritha but if you’ve recently purchased it may be a good time to chuck it.
This sucks because I just picked up a couple of boxes from the local Indian Grocery store, however it was cheap and I’m not taking any chances with my health, they will be tossed.
A note, I do not reside in Canada but Hesh is exported worldwide so if they’re noticing this then you better believe that the products sold here are probably contaminated as well. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
